As promised, Ugandan legislators have crafted an anti-gay bill that they now expect will be voted
on before Christmas. The bill, known by it's moniker, "Kill The Gays," removed one of the most severe aspects of the legislation by striking down a proposal that would force homosexuals caught in the act of sex to be sentenced to death.
Despite widespread universal condemnation - to say nothing of the myriad problems the country faces financially, agriculturally, environmentally, etc - the regime of President Yoweri Museveni (who will begin his 27th year in power on January 26, 2013) had promised and is expected to sign the legislation and thus deliver just in time for his country his "Christmas gift" as promised
Below is a video showing various state legislators discussing procedural manuevers and the importance of respecting other's votes by failing to address anything beyond their own personal views on the minutiae of the process itself.
The whole thing is chilling.
