(That's not a really bad mustache, btw.)
On one of the message boards I participate in, there was a discussion of homoeroticism in straight porn. The thinking went something like this: In the 70s and 80s, straight porn performers cared less about how they might be perceived because they were already considered the dregs of society. So what if one male scene partner helped his other male scene partner insert the guy's cock in a woman's pussy?
But as the years passed, and gay porn became firmly entrenched as a genre (and a force to be reckoned with), the lines between what was or wasn't "gay" started to take root. Coupled with this, culturally, was a backlash against homosexuality and "the gays" which made even seeming qeuer-ish a kiss of death in the straight porn community.
This, of course, has swung wildly back in our favor with so-called straight porn actors frequently engaging in gay sex and others, like Jeremy Bilding and Wolf Hudson, leapfrogging between the two.
One of the clips to support this argument is a clip from the Michelle Wild video, "Yalozradio," where she and her two hunky camera-slash-soundmen have a moment of, um, intimacy.
So, what do you think? Does this constitute homoeroticism in its traditional sense? Or is this just the reality of what's typically found in a guy-on-girl-on-guy porn? Discuss.
(The penis-touching and other assorted debauchery starts around the 24 minute mark. And, yes, the voiceovers are, in fact, quite possibly the most unsettling found anywhere ever.)
