If all the world's ills could be solved with the extract of some untapped resource, you'd be hard-pressed to find one better suited for the task than an extract from Cody Kyler. Bubbly. Young. Cute as hell. Untainted. This Midwestern transplant is the latest porn pup from iconic adult studio Flava Works. But what makes this mass of whirling sexual energy so remarkable is that he's white; a first for a studio synonymous with ethnic fare. And he's also ambitious, playful and, like so many of his Millenial cohorts, unfazed - perplexed even - by the racial barriers he's breaking. If Messr. Kyler is a part of porn history, nobody's told him. Or at least that's the way he came across in our two-hour conversation the other night. But don't take my word for it...
MOC: Cody I want to thank you for taking time from what appears to be a global sex tour to speak with MOC. Welcome.
Cody Kyler: Well thank you for the opportunity! I’ve been really excited for this interview for a while now.
MOC: Really? Why?
Cody: Yeah. Because I’ve known about MOC even before I got into porn, and now I’m actually being interviewed by y’all…pretty exciting on my part!
MOC: Well, truth be told, me too. I think part of the reason I'm so interested in speaking with you is because you are a part of porn history. You're the first white model to be employed by a major - perhaps the only - viable black porn entity. How does that feel?
Cody: To be completely honest with you, it feels pretty damn good. Yeah, Flava Works is mainly a black and Latino company, and for me being their poster boy for their new white porn company...it’s pretty amazing I’m not gonna lie. I feel as if I got the opportunity of a lifetime.
MOC: Their new white porn company?
Cody: Let me rephrase that. I’m their first and only white model, I’m going to start their new white porn line I guess you can say.
MOC: And how will that be different? The "white porn" line?
Cody: Flava Works has never crossed over from the Blatino work they do. and for me being the first Caucasian twink working with a company known for doing Blatino thug work...it’s pretty different. But all is going well! We're actually about to start work on my first full DVD that Flava Works is gonna put out.
MOC: So how did it all fall into place? One minute you're just this regular kid in the suburbs and then, pow, you're on three continents in three weekends as a recognizable porn star. How did THAT happen?
Cody: All by chance to be honest with you. one day, I
was just sitting at home back in Oklahoma city with my two best friends and we were talking about how cool it would be to get into porn. And I had remembered seeing a "Be a model" link on a gay porn site I had saw a few years back. so, me being the only one who was 18 at the time, I went on Google and typed in a "gay porn studios" and it pulled a big list of all the major studios in the business. So what I did was I went to every single one of them and applied...I didn’t even know that I was applying for Flava Works. I just went right down the list. That was on a Saturday night. And on Monday afternoon, they had emailed me back wanting me to go down to Miami to do some work with them. And so I did! That Monday afternoon I had had gotten calls and emails from all over the country from different studios wanting to work with me.
MOC: Name names.
Cody: Citiboyz, which I’ve done work with. Flava Works, who I’m signed with now. Titan contacted me back, as well as Jake Cruise, Falcon [Studios] and there was one other, but I have to check my email for the name real quick.
MOC: Why, then, Flava Works?
Cody: Why Flava Works? They contacted me back on Monday and they wanted me down as as soon as possible. So that next Friday I was on a plane down to Miami. First time I had ever flown, too.
MOC: I'm sure there have been a lot of firsts this year.
Cody: Of course. First time to leave the country..first time to fly first class..I got my first company iPhone..first time I had ever been with a black guy before..my first website..just goes on and on.
MOC: Well, let's talk about that..By "been with,'' you mean have had sex with, right?
Cody: Yeah, that’s correct. Before I had come down to Miami to work with Flava Works, I had never had sex with a black guy before...
MOC: ...No black guys in Oklahoma City?...
Cody: ...Not that I had anything against black guys, I just had never had the right chance to do it.
MOC: What was that like, your first time? Was it what you imagined a porn set to be?
Cody: It was actually a lot of fun! At first, I was really nervous. It was a solo shoot. I really didn’t know what to do or how to react in front of the camera. But once my second and third came around, it got a lot easier for me to be in front of the camera. And as time went on, I actually enjoy shooting now. Its a lot of fun!
MOC: What are your parents like?
Cody: Well, my parents are very old-fashioned to be honest with you. My dad grew up in southern Louisiana and my mom in southern New Mexico. So it’s a pretty southern family..but my parents are very understanding and supportive of what I do. I know I can count on them for pretty much anything
MOC: Are you going to make them pay for your first DVD?
Cody: Ha-ha, no. I’m actually about to send them one in a few days. When I worked for Citiboyz back in March, I had done a threesome with them, and on their newest DVD that just came out a few days ago, that scene is on the DVD along with me on the cover
MOC: Really. Like a "Happy July 4th" sort of thing? Only anal-ier?
Cody: Happy Independence Day, mom and dad! Ha-ha.
MOC: Why do you think Flava Works hired you?
Cody: I think the reason Flava Works signed me as quick as they did is because I think I have a lot of potential in this industry. And I think everything fell into place for a reason. I mean, going on five months in this industry and I’ve already gotten this far is a huge accomplishment I think. I work hard at everything I do, weather that be working at Sears as an electronic salesman in Oklahoma city or having sex on camera, I strive to be the best at everything I do. And I think they realized that early in the game.
MOC: I'd buy a toaster from you. Cody, do you feel a historical burden in your very public role for Flava Works?
Cody: LOL. Thanks. A burden? Not in any way at all. I think of it as more of a challenge. Yeah, I am the first white exclusive model the company has ever had, and for me still being new in the industry, it’s all a big learning experience not only for myself, but for the company also. But I’m taking it day by day and loving every single second of it.
MOC: What sort of porn did you watch at first? As a young teenager?
Cody: I started watching porn at an early age...like 13-14-ish. And I started off watching gay porn. I couldn't seem to get off to straight porn..Just wasn’t my thing.
MOC: It's very accessible, no? I mean, you could have had access to any number of channels of gay porn and for free, no?
Cody: Oh it was very accessible when you have programs like Limewire and Ares. I just downloaded any movie or scene I wanted to without every paying for it! But, oh yeah...porn was never a problem for me and as far as different types of gay porn? I watched it all from white, Latino, black and beyond...I’m pretty much attracted to men of all races. I mean, as long as I’m attracted to you, you could be green for all care.
MOC: Well, the way the gay porn industry is flourishing these days, that might not be a bad idea...BrokeStraightGreenGuys.com.
Cody: Ha-ha.
MOC: But can you see where studios might be upset hearing you talk so openly of downloading free material?
Cody: Yeah, but that’s when I was waaay younger. I didn’t even have a debit/credit card bank then. LOL.
MOC: Now you do?
Cody: of course!
MOC: So, do you think gay men and women are coming out at an earlier age?
Cody: Oh, yeah, most definitely! I came out when I was just 15 years old. I know some older gay people who didn’t come out until their mid-to-late 20s. I think as time moves on, each generation is going to be a little bit more open-minded than the last.
MOC: So what do you think that means in terms of younger people expressing themselves sexually? Do you think being easier to be gay has had anything to do with this?
Cody: Yeah, I think it does. Expressing yourself sexually
is just human nature. And when these younger gay people come out as early as they do, they are trying to figure out who they really are. I mean, I’ve had sex with both guys and girls. and me only being 18 years old, I can say I know what my sexual identity is. I’m gay and I’m proud of it. I couldn’t even imagine even being straight. I love being gay and the lifestyle that comes along with it.
MOC: Like the porn lifestyle?
Cody: Not even that. I was happy just living the normal gay lifestyle. To me, being gay is so open and free. You can be who you really are, and be happy with yourself at the end of the night.
MOC: What porn performers do you admire?
Cody: Even though she may not be gay, or even a guy for that matter, I can say that I do look up to Jenna Jameson. She started from being just another pretty girl to this big famous porn star. She has worked from the ground up for everything she has, and I can really honestly say that I do look up to her.
MOC: Okay, who lights your candle sexually?
Cody: Ya know...through the past few years, I’ve always watched and gotten off to Mason Wyler. Even when I was younger, I used to always fantasize about him.
MOC: Anyone else?
Cody: I also like Pierre Fitch and Brent Everett
MOC: Brent is a wonderful guy. Very sweet. Down to earth. Like you, Cody. Two more questions, k?
Cody: Well, thank you. And, okay that's fine.
MOC: One..Why are you single?
Cody: I am single because I choose to be. I’ve learned over the past few years since I’ve been dating guys that they are all pretty much all the same. I’ve talked to many guys and had a few boyfriends in my life, but to be honest with you, may last relationship was in early January. I got tired of going from guy to guy to guy trying be happy. And after my last relationship, I told myself that that was enough. I don’t need anybody but myself to make me happy. So, I quit dating guys earlier this year. I have been hurt a few times in my life and it’s not very fun. So ever since then, I don’t put myself out there like I used to. And then I got into doing porn and when you’re in this industry, it would make having a boyfriend next to impossible. So i just choose to be single. And when that right boy comes along who will accept me and what I do, then who knows. But for the time being, I’m trying to focus on me and trying to get as big as I can in this industry.
MOC: Okay. Now, two..Will you be my guest again sometime in the future?
Cody: Of course! I actually enjoyed this interview and getting the chance to speak with you.

Omg! He's so adorable. However, I'm on the fence with porn companies and "twinks". I love watching a cute young hottie in hard action. But I can’t help but think about the fact that a lot of these young models go into the industry very excited and not knowing what they're getting themselves into. They usually are very clueless and don't have the right advocates, or council to look out for their best interest. The allure of being the hot new heavily sought after commodity often masks the fact that they’re being exploited to no end, burns some out and leaves many with little or nothing to show for it in the end. I hope that isn't the case here.

I interviewed Cody at Chronicles of Pornia Blog previously and I was berated for doing so and due to some comments Kyler made in the interview. I am glad that MOC Blog has interviewed him and I still think Cody is a great model with potential.
