Isn't it funny how all the gay porn actors accused of violent crimes are all "gay-for-pay" performers? You now have Nickolay. Before there was Marcus Allen and Mark Dalton, and my own former scene partner, Double R. I think there's a self-inflicted inner-rage that they are releasing with these violent acts.

That's a very interesting observation, Tre. I wonder if his background - coming as it is from a staunchly masculine environment - had anything to do with it. I'm certainly not excusing his behavior but you do tend to find increased violence in societies where extreme notions of masculinity are prevelant. Think the Taliban, no? (And, yet, homesexuality flourishes in these environments nonetheless often between men who would never think of themselves as homosexual.) By the way I saw a couple of Petrov's movies yesterday and there's something eerily absent in his performances. I don't mean to Monday morning quarterback but the guy seems a little detached in a Hannibal Lecter sort of way.
